Virtual IRA Workshop

Register now for the Virtual IRA Essentials & Advanced Workshop on September 22 and 23. LSCU has partnered with Ascensus® and five credit union leagues across the U.S. to provide a two-day workshop that covers both an IRA Essentials and IRA Advanced curriculum. Topics include Establishing IRAs, IRA Funding, IRA Distributions, IRA Portability, Required Minimum Distributions, Beneficiary Options, Advanced Portability, Roth IRA Conversion Contributions, and IRA Excess Contributions. Virtual Lending School

LSCU is offering TWO date options to attend Virtual Lending School to meet all your lending training needs. Courses will be offered on October 7 and 20. We have partnered with Don Arkell of CU Lending Advice to offer the same Virtual Lending School on two separate dates so that you can pick the one that works best for you! Each day consists of a sales training course and an underwriting course with a lunch break in-between. We have set up the option to sign up for one course/$195 or both courses/$380. Southeast Leadership Development Conference Virtual Experience

Out of an abundance of caution during the ongoing pandemic for credit union attendees, speakers, vendors, sponsors and LSCU staff, LSCU will host Southeast Leadership Development Conference Virtual Experience on November 5-6, 2020! Supervisory Committee Certification Program

Many credit unions have new supervisory committee members or may need a fresher training for current members. Not only do we have online, on-demand training available, it provides the attendee with a certification good for three years! The LSCU has partnered with Synergy Credit Union Consulting and the Louisiana Credit Union League to provide this new program to our credit unions. It contains an overview and five educational modules listed below. Ancin Cooley, the trainer for these educational modules, may be a familiar face. He is a highly rated speaker who has presented at league events and supervisory committee and director training in our three states for many years.
