HELPING PEOPLE AFFORD LIFE.
We like to use that phrase when we talk about Georgia credit unions. It de nes a reputational sense of purpose for what credit unions do... why they exist.
But we wanted to nd out what Helping People Afford Life means to credit union members. So we put the call out to credit unions for stories that illustrate how they help people afford life.
Not everybody jumped in at first. Mostly because credit union employees don’t usually see the things they do every day as particularly noteworthy. It’s just how they operate.
When the stories started coming in, we were amazed at the depth and breadth of the things credit unions do on behalf of their members. There were so many wonderful examples of how credit unions came through when they were needed most.
We’ve brought a few of these stories together to celebrate the many ways Georgia credit unions Help People Afford Life.
