HELPING PEOPLE AFFORD LIFE.
What does it mean to ‘afford life?’ For some, it might mean funding life’s milestone events. For others, finding new ways to save for the future. And for others it might simply mean getting more out of life without paying more.
No matter how you define it, these are all things credit unions help members do. Credit unions focus on finding financial solutions for members, rather than maximizing a profit. They work to understand what is happening in members’ lives, so they can find the right solution. Credit unions go above and beyond for their members - EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Each year, we put out a call to our credit unions to understand how they define ‘helping people afford life.’ And each year, we believe there is no way the entries could surpass the remarkable stories received last year. And then it happens. The stories start pouring in and we’re proven wrong...again.
From providing the means for a special needs home renovation to helping the terminally ill handle their financial affairs, these are but a few of the ways Georgia’s credit unions are Helping People Afford Life.
