COVID-19 and Education & Training Events

The LSCU education team is closely monitoring the situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) and is following the available public health guidance to ensure our upcoming educational events will be safe and successful. The health and safety of our member credit unions, event attendees, employees, participating exhibitors/sponsors and presenters are a top priority to for us. Plans are being made related to educational events in 2021. As we open event registration and provide health and safety details about in-person conferences, the LSCU & Affiliates website will be updated. Please check our event pages often.

Credit unions have ways for staff to be productive and continue learning. The LSCU’s online webinars cover subjects from compliance to lending to security and fraud. Recorded webinars are available 24 hours, seven days a week, and live webinars are offered regularly.

All LSCU Schools, Training and Workshops will be virtual in 2021. The only exception at this time is that the final session of the Leadership College is being planned in-person.

Current event updates are as follows:

SRCUS Directors Conference that was planned for July 18 - 21, 2021 in Memphis, TN is now postponed until 2023.

The LSCU education team is continually monitoring the reporting from recognized and authoritative sources for the most accurate information on this situation. We also know that federal, state and local leaders and public health providers are working together and sharing guidance to safeguard everyone from exposure to the virus.
