INTRODUCTION

Safety is of the utmost importance at the Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE). To that end, the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates and the management of Hilton Bonnet Creek are taking pro-active steps to ensure your health and safety and minimize exposure to the COVID-19 virus during SCUCE for all participants. LSCU & Affiliates reserves the right to revise these policies and protocols at any time upon reasonable notice to meeting participants and to prohibit participation by any meeting participants that fail to comply with these policies and procedures.

GENERAL

Counters, laptops, printers, tables, chairs, handrails, doorknobs, bathroom sinks, toilets and other furniture/equipment/areas with high traffic will be wiped down with antiviral and antibacterial agents frequently throughout the day by the hotel throughout the meeting space.
In accordance with both state and local regulations, the policy of the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek (which follows CDC guidelines), participants that are fully vaccinated are not required to wear masks in public spaces- indoors and outside on hotel property. Participants that are not fully vaccinated are requested to wear a mask indoors on hotel property (outside of individual sleeping rooms), except to eat and drink.
Minimum physical distance policy throughout the meeting area, including common areas, exhibit hall, meeting rooms and at social/meal functions.
Signage to encourage pandemic-aware behavior will be posted throughout the meeting area.

PRIOR TO CONFERENCE

Do not attend if you have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus within 14 days of the event or have been notified that you have been exposed to someone with the COVID-19 virus within 14 days of the event.
Provide emergency contact information to LSCU & Affiliates during your registration process.
Consider whether you may fall into one of the "higher risk" categories identified by public health officials before registering for the event.
Do not travel if you are ill or not feeling well.

REGISTRATION

LSCU & Affiliates staff at the SCUCE Registration Center, Welcome Center and Health & Safety Center will be available to answer questions for participants.

EXPO HALL

Wider aisles between booth rows to ensure each attendee can maintain proper physical distance.
One-way aisles to manage flow of traffic in a clockwise direction.
Exhibit hall will be thoroughly cleaned before it opens and after each event with anti-bacterial cleaning products and electrostatic misting. High touch areas will be cleaned ongoing.
Hand sanitizer stations on each aisle of the exhibit hall and also in the area where food and drinks will be served.
Queue lines with 3-foot distancing to control the flow of attendees into the exhibit hall.
Booth size is increased to 10X10 to allow for more spacing of exhibitors within the booth.

MEETING ROOMS

Chairs in meeting rooms will be set to allow for approved physical distancing.
Hotel staff will wipe down all high-touch/high-traffic areas frequently throughout the day.

FOOD/BEVERAGE

Food service will be either pre-packaged, served by hotel staff or will have single-use gloves and/or hand sanitizer stations nearby for any items multiple people may touch.
Coffee and drink stations will be staffed with attendant, will be modified for self-service or may have single-use gloves provided.
Seating at round tables during meals will be somewhat reduced for social distancing.
Handwashing/sanitizing stations will be placed in all rooms where food is served.

HOTEL

The hotel has re-trained the entire hotel staff on proper cleaning/disinfecting procedures, personal behavior, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Hand sanitizer is provided at multiple locations in the hotel, including throughout the meeting area.
LSCU & Affiliates staff will remind attendees at queue lines at all bars and buffets, to socially distance. Property restaurants and retail locations will also encourage appropriate social distancing.
The hotel has implemented an aggressive cleaning/disinfecting schedule for all public and "high touch" areas as well as guest rooms.
CDC approved social distancing procedures have been implemented throughout the Hilton Bonnet Creek Hotel.
Restaurants and other public areas may have reduced their maximum capacities to allow for appropriate distancing.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Should you become ill during the event, please immediately advise the Duty of Care Officer by calling 703-623-7304, and self-isolate.
Contact a local testing center, urgent care center or emergency room for instructions.
Please practice good hygiene by washing your hands frequently or using sanitizing stations which will be located throughout the hotel and meeting space. We will continue to work with the hotel and local jurisdictions and make modifications to ensure the health and well-being of all attendees.
